  • To increase the quantity and to improve the quality of the manpower and services.

  • To increase knowledge, skill and capability of the staff.

  • To provide better management methods and tool so as to ensure transparency and accountability.

  • To equip offices and workshops with necessary facilities.

  • To plan development projects to meet the public requirements especially the people of rural areas such as roads, community centres, multi-purpose halls and other basic facilities including maintenance costs.

  • To motivate the Penghulu, Ketua Kampong and Consultative Councils not only to carry out social and welfare activities but also economic activities that will enhance the well-being opf the people.

  • To provide infrastructure for business activities and to issue licenses for business.

  • To provide, maintain and upgrade the recreational infrastructure such as recreation parks and landscaping.

  • To provide services for the conveniences of the people such as

     

    • To provide rubbish collection and disposal,
    • To clean rivers, drains and channels.
    • To provide counselling services for the public.
    • To organise road safety campaign.

     

  • To provide the necessary helps in co-ordinating the development schemes and projects other Government agencies such as group-farming, neighbourhood caring, youths sport, boy scout congregation, lanscape and environment beauty competition and cleaning campaigns.

  • To instill and foster the culture of excellence.

     

  • To work closely together in the spirit of brotherhood i.e as a member of a "Team Work".
